It's been a while...

I haven't posted anything in so long ! Oops - I have been away for a week though at a Christian week called Momentum. It was amazing !! 

But back to Gambia fundraising - I have my tea and cake fundraiser coming up this Sunday. I am currently waiting for rsvps so that I can work out how much cake needs to be baked. Argh - hopefully it will be a really fun afternoon and the ladies will enjoy eating cake and drinking tea and giving towards my trip to Gambia. 

I'm getting so so excited now! It's only 2 and a half months now until I go !! Eeeeek

Also, the smarties tubes are still coming in slowly - so far each one has had an approx average amount of £10 in them. So they are adding very nicely to my money pot :D

I just feel so blessed that so many people in the church and out are willing to help me so generously! 

More smarties

Yesterday I gave out 18 more smartie tubes to people at church ! 

Everyone seemed excited to do it for me which was great :) although I did wonder if people were just excited about eating the smarties - hehe ! 

 

Also, my other fundraising idea, the cream tea afternoon is turning more into a tea and cake afternoon. Still slightly similar just easier to manage. I just have to work out how many people i can manage having there, then start selling tickets :D
